We are the Beer Vampires

by Billy Broas

And you don’t stand a chance…Eric Northman Trueblood

We’re on a quest to convert the masses to our choice of delicious beer.

Drinkers of light tasteless lagers beware of us predators.  Our bloodline is growing and our bite is strong.

We attack from every direction.  From mouthwatering reviews to interviews with the elders.  Not even women are safe.

We mesmerize our prey with ales of awe:

Stouts, Belgians, and Porters. Barleywines, Trappist ales, and IPA’s.

Our drinks bring bliss and banish the drool that has scourged the palate.

You become one of us.  No longer a mortal.  Enlightened, renewed, and thirsty.

You’ll never go back to the way you were.  Nor will you want to.  You join a brethren hell bent on changing the world of beer.  We only ask that you join our cause and bring others out of the shadows.

Have you been bitten by a beer vampire? Are you one?

HAH! Love it!!

I’m sitting here at work trying desperately to figure out who originally bit me to make me a Beer Vampire… I just don’t know. Guess that’s all a part of the master plan though, right? Bite ‘em, convert ‘em, then wipe their memories clean of bad beer…

Don’t know who started it, I am definitely a Beer Vampire.

I think it was the beer Wererabbit that got me!

I knew we had some other vamps! “Wipe their memories clean of bad beer” – that’s a great one Denise. I hear ya Scott, it’s often the beer you remember that converted you and not the person.

And to all the ladies visiting this blog for the first time – yes, that is a picture of me taken on Halloween ; )

I know fellow beer Vampires Uncle Steve and Eric will be on hand for the brewing session this weekend. Maybe I can crank out some custom fangs for the event!

I was up at Mohegan Sun in CT with a bunch of stogie smokers and beer drinkers. Had some great beers and your web site came up in the conversation. :)
I also won $500.00.

@Forrest I think you might be more of a werewolf dude (heh)
@Dr.B Sounds like a good turnout! Can’t wait.
@Jimmie Thanks for bringing me up. $500 eh? I’ll be expecting a detailed list of all the beers you buy with that dough. If you haven’t spent it all on stogies that is.
